Kathy Pirson LaDuca
LADUCA, Kathy P., 66, of Tampa, went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 9, 2016. Born in Buffalo, NY, April 21, 1950, Kathy graduated from Michigan State in 1972 and received her Masters in Marine Biology from the University of South Florida in 1974. She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband Nick for 42 years, a sacrificial mother to her children Chris LaDuca and wife Kim and Rachel Baer and husband Rob, and a doting "Neenie" to her grandchildren, Carter and Kate Baer, Jabyn and Tevya LaDuca. She is also survived by her sisters, Corinne DeRosa and Barb Foisy. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Barbara. Kathy dedicated her life to loving her family, serving the Lord and investing in others. She mentored high school girls for 28 years at Bell Shoals Baptist Church. A gifted pianist, she spent years teaching that gift to others. She loved the outdoors and caring for her beautiful plants and flowers. Kathy loved to travel the world with her family and perfect her ballroom dancing with her husband.
Funeral Information
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 P.M. Friday, July 15, 2016, at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, Brandon, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. A reception will follow.
