Obituary for Kathryn R. Fowke
Kathryn R. Fowke

FOWKE, Kathryn R., 52, of Valrico, passed away peacefully at home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. Born on October 14, 1961 in Washington, D.C., she leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her beloved husband, John C. (Chuck) Fowke, as they shared 20 years of life together; children, J.C. Fowke, Christopher Henry (Brittany), Jonathan Henry, Taylor Giese; step-daughters, Jennifer Fowke, Amy Fowke, Tara Fowke; grandson, Dalton Henry; parents, Ed and Valerie Musick; sisters, Renee, Angie, Leisha, Tamara. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all, Kathryn was a devoted Christian who touched the lives of many with her smile and hugs and uplifted anyone in need of care or attention. Throughout the years she became a special part of the Tampa Bay Builders Association, Florida Home Builders Association, and the National Association of Home Builders' family. Kathryn had a wonderful passion for gardening, but her greatest joy in life was her children and being "Mommy". While fighting her four-year battle with a rare form of cancer, she became an inspiration for everyone that knew her and witnessed her courage and faith. For the care and professional attention that was given to Kathryn during her battle with cancer, the family would like to thank Moffitt Cancer Center, Dr. Damon Reed and assistant Cathy, John Noriega at Bill's Prescriptions, LifePath Hospice Sapphire Team, and a special thank you to Vicki Godfrey for her personal care for Kathryn during her final days.
