Kathleen Mary Falvo was born on March 25, 1965, in Toms River, New Jersey. She passed in her home on March 16, 2025, in Valrico, Florida, surrounded by loved ones. She was a beloved daughter of Richard and Arlene Borkowski, beloved wife of Peter Falvo, and beloved mother of Kelsey and Timothy Falvo.
Kathy, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life on Earth was marked by family, friends, and the love she shared with all. Her greatest joys were her family and pets, which miss her dearly. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and others she has touched throughout her life.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Peter; her children Kelsey and Timothy; her loving mother, Arlene Borkowski; her brothers Phillip, James, and Brian; and her sister Cindy. She was predeceased by her father, Richard Borkowski; her grandparents Stanley and Ursula Borkowski and Martin and Ann Schuler; and her aunts and uncles Benjamin and Audrey Eisenbrey, Robert Borkowski, and Delores Oliver.
After her graduation from Manchester Township High School in Lakehurst, NJ, Kathy embarked on a life-long professional career in the gaming industry. Kathy had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impression upon all those who were blessed to cross paths with her.
The Celebration of Life gathering to honor Kathy Falvo’s life will be Friday, May 16, 2025, from 1:00 - 5:00 P.M. at LeVenue, Brandon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Research Center or First Ladies Farm-Reinventing Rescue in Kathy’s memory. The funds raised will go towards helping future patients and animals in need.
Although Kathy’s physical presence no longer graces the lives of everyone she met, her spirit will continue to impact and uplift us all. May her memory be a blessing and may we carry forth her love of family and friends in all that we do. As our lives continue without Kathy, her light will shine brightly in our hearts for the rest of our days.
