Karen Marie Webb, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away after battling ALS for two years, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raoul Webb, and is survived by her children, Melissa Conley and Shawn Conley (Brandi); her parents, George and Carolyn Thomas; her siblings, Robin Conley (Kevin), Shelly Grover, and Brad Thomas (Jennifer); her treasured nieces, Brittany Poulnot (Cody), Lauren Courreges (Emmi), and Meagan Tombulyan (Gagik); her adored grandchildren, Ashlyn and Logan Conley; and her loving fiancé, Michael Gilmore, along with his family, who became an extension of her own.
Karen was a proud graduate of Brandon High School, Class of 1977, and went on to build a long and meaningful career with Eli Whitt and Syniverse Technologies. After years of dedication in the professional world, she gracefully transitioned into a new chapter of life—one filled with caregiving, nurturing, and loving those around her.
She had a heart that never stopped giving. Karen cared deeply for her family, neighbors, and friends, and found great joy in babysitting her grandchildren, offering a helping hand, or simply being there when someone needed her. She was the kind of person who showed up—every time, without hesitation, and with a warm smile.
A true believer in the magic of everyday life, Karen shared her love of Disney with her family, creating unforgettable memories through countless vacations full of laughter, joy, and wonder. These trips weren’t just escapes; they were traditions, built on her belief in celebrating each moment and cherishing those we hold dear.
Karen had a gentle soul and a creative heart. She loved the outdoors—gardening, soaking in the sunshine, and strolling the Florida beaches. When she wasn’t under the open sky, she could be found in her craft room, sewing everything from costumes to cozy blankets—each piece stitched with love. Every holiday in Karen’s home was a celebration of beauty and family, with handcrafted decorations turning her space into a sanctuary of joy.
On weekends, Karen could be found riding her Harley Davidson along scenic back roads, her spirit at peace in the wind and freedom of the open road. It was another way she embraced life fully, with curiosity and courage.
While she held many roles in her life, none brought her more pride than being a mom and a grandma. Her family was her heart, her home, and her greatest achievement. She poured her soul into them, and they carry her love with them always.
Though her physical presence is no longer with us, Karen’s light will never fade. She will continue to guide, protect, and inspire us—as our guardian angel, forever near.
Karen will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and eternally cherished.
Rest in peace, Karen. Your love lives on.
