Julia Margaret Rush, 77, of Riverview, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024. A native of Sanford, North Carolina, she had resided in the Tampa Bay area for ten years coming from Fort Lauderdale. Julia was of the catholic faith; she loved to read, watch movies while eating popcorn, go out to eat with her family, her chihuahuas and living a life of peace.
Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Betancourt. She is survived by her sons, Franklin Betancourt, Jr. and Ricardo Betancourt; daughters, Nilda Betancourt and Zaury Betancourt; brother, George Rush; sisters, Becky Rush and Nilda Ortiz; five grandchildren, Ricardo, Yoel, Glenn, Gabriel and Genesis and five great-grandchildren, Geovanni, Elliera, Jancarlos, Zayden and Lucas.
