Survivors include his wife, Hilda Gonzalez; son, Carlos Alberto Matias; daughters, Yolanda Claudio, Edith Pacheco (David), and Hilda Morero; mother, Amelia Santiago; brothers, Samuel Matias (Carmen), and Alberto Ortiz; sister, Sara Matias; and numerous grandchildren. A funeral mass will be conducted 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Dr., Riverview, Fl 33578. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Tuesday evening.
