HORN, Joshua "Josh" Grable
HORN, Joshua "Josh" Grable, 31, of Tampa, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2007. A native of Hayesville, NC, he had resided in Tampa for most of his lifetime. He was a 1994 graduate of Plant High School, and earned a Masters Degree in psychology from the University of South Florida. He was currently in the second year of the Ph.D. program at the University of Florida, College of Pharmacy. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Theodore J. Grable, M.D.; maternal grandmother, Verna M. Horn and uncles, George Grable and James E. Horn. He is survived by his wife, Carmen Horn; father, Bill Grable, Tampa; mother, Barbara Horn, Plant City; brother, Joseph Grable, Tampa; sister, Michelle Szermeta, St. Petersburg; paternal grandmother, Muriel R. Grable, Asheville, NC; maternal grandfather, Robert E. Horn, Plant City; 6 uncles, Ted Grable, Valrico, Matt Grable, Asheville, NC, Bob Horn, Tampa, Billy Horn and John Horn, both of Plant City and Rick Horn, Santa Maria, CA and 4 aunts, Ann Jordan, Ft. Lauderdale, Mary Barnett and Theresa Gill, both of Asheville, NC and Jean Donnelly, Bradenton, FL. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 8, 2007, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Florida, College of Pharmacy, in memory of Joshua Grable Horn. Following the service, Josh's friends and family are invited to continue the celebration of his life at his father's home at 605 S. Delaware Ave, Tampa, FL 33606. Please bring pictures of Josh and music that he would enjoy.
