ROUTH, Jr., Joseph O., 81, of Valrico, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015. A native of Lakeland, FL, he was a life-long resident of the area. He was a member of Bell Shoals Baptist Church, Brandon, a US Army veteran and worked for CSXRR for over 30 years. He is survived by his son, Kevin L. (Jeanelle) Routh; daughters, Janet (David) Givens, Susan Peppers and Carol (Michael) Sligh; sister, Ellen Bryan; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Information
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 3, 2015, from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Dr., Riverview. Graveside services will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, December 4, 2015, at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL.
