Joseph A. Hendricks, Sr., known as Mickey, passed away peacefully and suddenly at home in
his sleep and went with the angels to be with our Lord and Savior on March 13, 2025.
Mickey was preceded in death by his mother and father, 2 brothers and 1 daughter.
Mickey is survived by his wife Lois of 53+ years, his children Joseph Jr, Jason, Diane and Iana,
11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by
sisters and brothers, Linda, Bobby, Ronnie, Janie, Norman and Nora, as well as many friends
and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
In addition to leaving a meaningful impression on his family and friends, Mickey worked more
than 50 years at Ford Motor Company and as a Court Security Officer with the US Marshall
service in Atlanta, GA and Tampa, FL. Mickey served honorably as a Sergeant in the US Air
Force for 6 years.
Mickey, you have completed your mission and you are done with the troubles of this world. May
you be in eternal rest and peace on your journey home. We all love you and will miss you!

Visitation will be on Thursday April 3, 2025 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Hanley-Shelton Funeral

Cemetery-Canton, GA located at 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton GA 30114.
