SMOTHERS, Johnnie C. "Pete", 83, of Balm, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2011. A native of Washington County, FL, he had resided here since 1947 coming from Chipley, FL and was a member of Balm Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Lonnie Smothers and is survived by his wife, Mildred; 3 daughters, Margaret Diane Maurer, Gloria Jean Brown and Debra Sue LaRocque; sister, Janie Dupree; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Balm Baptist Church with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery.
