John William Kelso
KELSO, John William, said goodbye to his family and friends over these last few weeks, days, hours and moments. He left this world Friday, October 7, 2011, just before 9 a.m. Johns spirit remains forever with us. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Marion, sons, Jonathan (Cathy), and Jason (Kim); daughters, Jessica and Nicole; brothers and sisters, Earl Jr., J. Thomas, Connie, Bonnie, Donna, and Michael; mother, Genevieve Kelso of Big Bear, CA; grandchildren, Rachel, Erin, Austin, and Kamryn; and many other family members. Born in Russell, Kansas, May 6, 1949 he grew up in Bell, CA and graduated from Bell High School in 1966. He enlisted and served 4 years in the Air Force and later with the Air Force Reserves. He worked for the 3M Company in California and Florida for 25 years, since then he's been with the Steris Corporation in Florida since 1999. He and his family lived in the Riverview area for the past 16 years. John saw great potential in and found pride and joy through his children, grandchildren, and entire family. He strove to be and valued a true friend while taking comfort from these relationships. His younger days were spent surfing, boating, waterskiing, fishing and camping, with golf being his lifelong passion.

A memorial to remember John will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 5 p.m. at Bloomingdale Golfers Club, 4113 Great Golfers Place, Valrico, FL 33586.
