MASSARO, John, 63, of Tampa, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011. A native and life-long resident of Tampa, John retired from the City of Tampa Water Department and was a US Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, GianBattista and Adelina Massaro and his brother, Luigi Massaro and is survived by his wife, Dovie Massaro; Step-daughter, Paula Davie, Spring Hill, FL; Brother, Dr. Angelo Massaro, Pembroke, VA; Sisters, Lily Fazio, Valrico, FL and Rose Tucker, Riverview, FL; 2 step-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Inurnment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
