John Addison Lockard was born in Tampa, Florida on December 17, 1962 and went home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2025, at the age of 62.
An avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, he placed the highest importance on God and family. He was a wonderful man of God and an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church for over 30 years, leading the church's paintball ministry for 15 years.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 28 years Kristin Lockard; his three children Jason Lockard (Michelle), Diane Donley (Ryan), and Ashley Quigley (Justin); 7 grandchildren Jaiden, Ashton, Haidyn, Everly, Lily, Danielle, and Emilee.
John is also survived by his mother Robbie Lockard, brother Doug Lockard (Amanda), and sister Cindy Lockard. He is preceded in death by his father, Douglas Lockard.
He will be missed by many and is gone much too soon.
James 1:2-5 - My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on September 6th, 2025 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 13515 US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592. Visitation will be from 10am- 11am with the Service to follow at 11:00am.
