Jeffrey Andrews, Sr.
ANDREWS, Sr., Jeffrey, 51, of Gibsonton, surrounded by his loving family, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 24, 2008. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Andrews and father-in-law, Graham H. Lewis. Jeff is survived by his life-long friend and loving wife, Marla; son, Jeffrey and Kristen Andrews; four daughters, Brandi and Bobby Gresham, Wendy and Jon Byrum, Carrie Andrews and Chris Colon, and Kimberly Andrews and Josh Owens; one treasured grandson, Tyler Jacob Andrews; another grandchild due in April; in-laws, Troy and Leota Long; his mother, Carol Wessell and many loving family members. Jeff was employed at Tampa Electric Co. for 23 years, was an active member of Bell Shoals Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and Sunday School teacher. His love for the missions field was shown in his trips to Africa, where he truly loved the country and its people. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support over the past year.
Funeral Information
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 27, 2008, at the chapel at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, Brandon, with Rev. Tony Walliser, Chattanooga, TN, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the church chapel.
