
Jeanne Coyle Sargent, born on March 13, 1929, passed away on November 21, 2024.She was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel J. Coyle, father to her four children, and her second husband, Donald G. Sargent, a 22-year Army veteran who survived the Battle of Chosin Reservoir. She also mourned the loss of her eldest son, Daniel Coyle, along with three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Lynda) and William, her daughter Regina (Mike), her brother Richard, and numerous grandchildren and great-granchildren.
Jeanne was a pioneering Realtor, joining the profession in 1962. She achieved significant recognition, including serving as President of the Tampa Board of Realtors in 1987 and earning the title of Realtor of the Year in 1982 by the same board. Her professional accolades include the CCIM which is the pinnacle in Commercial Real Estate designations. She was the first woman to join the Tampa Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100. She founded Coyle Realty, Inc. in 1973 and remained actively involved until her passing.
In her earlier years, Jeanne was known for her love of sailing, being a lifetime member of the Tampa Sailing Squadron. She will be remembered as intelligent, funny and sharp witted. She passed away peacefully at home and her legacy will be cherished by all who knew her.
