TAYLOR, James E. Jr. "Jet," 59, of Tampa, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2008. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; son, Thomas (Susan); daughter, Tammie (Michael); brothers, Kurt (Beverly) and Joe Taylor; sisters, Ivy Jane and Georgia; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Jet was known best for his passion in building and racing sprint cars. A memorial service will take place 11 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Southern Funeral Care, Riverview. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, (727) 563-8000.
