James Carl Moran Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on April 16, 1969, James lived a life defined by dedication, hard work, and a deep commitment to family and community.
James was a proud graduate of Gaither High School, Class of 1987, where he distinguished himself as both a swimmer and a wrestler. His strong work ethic and hands-on talents guided him throughout his professional life. He spent many years working in the pool industry before transitioning into a successful career as an electrician, a trade in which he was known for his skill, reliability, and pride in a job well done.
One of the most meaningful parts of James’s life was his longstanding dedication to the Boy Scouts of America. He devoted countless hours mentoring young men, proudly supporting his son and grandson, and positively influencing many other boys as they grew into responsible, capable men. His guidance, patience, and steady presence left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of learning from him.
James will be remembered for his strength, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He is survived by his loving spouse, **Nicole Moran**; his children, **Brandy, Mark, Richard (RJ), Leanna, and Brian**; and his cherished grandchildren, **Alejandro, Preston, Analena, Riley, Mikayla, Natalie, Trenton, Jedidiah, Everett, Emberlynn, Elisee and River**. He was a proud and devoted grandfather who found immense joy in each of their lives.
