James Allen Norris
Norris, James Allen, passed away on June 26, 2009 at home at the age of 83. He was born in Wauchula, FL. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and served as a deacon at Faith Baptist Church of Seffner for 35 years. James was predeceased by his parents, James F. and Maude Norris and brother, Billy Norris. While in the Navy he met the love of his life, Dorothy Bullock, and shared 63 years of happiness together. In addition to Dorothy, he is survived by his son, Jeffery Norris, his wife, Melanie and their children, Kelsey, Joshua and Zachary; daughter, Sabrena Norris and her husband, Richard Delaney; nieces, Paula Jones of Albuquerque, NM and Pam Witt of Mescalero, NM; nephew, Tommy (Stacey) Bullock of Orlando and many nieces and nephews and other family members. A visitation will be at Faith Baptist Church of Seffner, 603 Faithway Drive, on Wednesday, July 1st, 2009 from 10:00am to 11:00am with the funeral immediately following at 11:00am. Donations in his memory may be made to Faith Baptist Church of Seffner or LifePath Hospice. The family wishes to thank the James A. Haley VA Hospital, LifePath Hospice and the Hillsborough County Agency on Aging for their compassionate care and assistance during his illness.
