Iris C. Narvaez-Justiniano passed away on June 13, 2024, at 1:15 p.m. at the age of 83 in Brandon, Florida, surrounded by her family. Iris was born December 22, 1940, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, and was one of many children. She lived mostly in New York, traveling between there and Puerto Rico until she settled in Florida. Iris met her long-loved husband, Timoteo Justiniano, in 1963. They were together for 50 years until he passed in 2011. They had six kids together, Helen, Ruben, William (Tango), Juan (Cuco), Sammy, Iris (Masita), and had daughter-in- laws: Janice and Norma and son-in-law: Rafael. Their family extended into 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.
Iris worked for the Hillsborough County Public Schools for 30 years until she retired. She liked spending time with her family, going to flea markets and going to the casino. She attended Catholic Church most of her life. Iris also loved watching “Caso Cerrado” on repeat.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Southern Funeral Care on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 1 PM. Immediate Family is welcome at 11 AM, a public visitation will be from 12-1 PM for friends. Following the service, family and friends will be able to visit Orange Hill Cemetery in Tampa, Florida, for the final resting place of Iris
