Mrs. Imogene (Jean) Parker, 97, of Brandon, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on December 5, 1928, Jean lived a life rooted in faith, strength, and unwavering devotion. She was a woman of grace and discipline, known for her sharp wit, strong values, and the quiet but powerful way she supported those she loved. Jean was the foundation of her family. Her wisdom, resilience, and her beloved “Imogene‑isms” shaped generations and will continue to echo in the lives of those she leaves behind. Her faith in God was the cornerstone of her life. A devoted member of First Baptist Church of Brandon for decades, she lived her beliefs with humility and consistency. Through every trial and triumph, her trust in the Lord remained steadfast, and she passed that same faith to her family. She is survived by her daughter, Joanna (Danilo) Rodriguez; her granddaughters, Rachel (Mark Gordon) Zattosky, Jessica (Eddie) Cruz, and Sarah Parker; and her great‑grandchildren, Alexis Rodriguez, David Cruz, and Stanley Zattosky. She was preceded in death by her husband David Parker, son Michael (surviving Marites) Parker and granddaughter Marcia Parker. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace, restored, and in the presence of the Lord she faithfully served. A Celebration of her Life will be held 11:30 A.M. Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Brandon, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. There will be a reception immediately following the service in the social hall. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or the First Baptist Church Foundation.
