COOLEY, Helen L., 81, of Brandon, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. A native of Tampa, she was a life-long resident of the area, member of the First United Methodist Church of Brandon, President of the Bloomingdale Cemetery Association numerous times and Past President of the National Lunchroom Association for the Hillsborough County School System. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Howard Cooley, Sr. and daughter, Carol Ann Cooley-Williams and is survived by her sons, Sammy, Ruskin, Russell (Brenda), Sun City, FL and Jamie (Pat), Valrico; daughters, Kathy (Tommy) Taylor, Thonotosassa and Karen (Johnny) Simonds, Dover; sister, Alice Herman, Leesburg; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Information
Graveside services, with Military Honors, was held on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Bloomingdale Cemetery, Valrico.
