WHITNEY, Helen Ann C., 90, of Brandon, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. A native of Fairmont, MN, she had resided here since 1978 coming from Grand Rapids, MN. She was a volunteer at South Florida Baptist Hospital, a member of Sew and Sew, volunteer at the Blood Bank, and the Lighthouse for the Blind and a member of the University of Minnesota Alumni Association, Suncoast Chapter. She is survived by her 3 sons, Thomas Richard Whitney, Robert William Whitney and Richard Wainwright Whitney, III and 7 daughters, Mary Kathryn Yamamoto, Jean Marie Whitney, Patricia Ann Landman, Judith Gail Legore, Elizabeth June Aye-Darko, Susan Barbara Whitney and Carol Christine Carpenter; 3 sisters, Marilyn Adel Peterson, Loyce Wagner and Jacquelyn Bosacker and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Information
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 13, 2016, at St. Clement Catholic Church, 1104 N. Alexander St., Plant City. A reception will follow. Another service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 20, 2016, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13901 Fairview Dr, Burnsville, MN. Inurnment will follow at Pleasant View Memorial Garden, Burnsville, MN.
