Hayden Watkins
WATKINS, Hayden, 91, of Brandon, FL, has gone home to be with his Lord. He passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 1, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife, Janette; son, Curtis Watkins; two daughters, Susan Joiner (Jim), and Melodie Grem (Joseph); his grandchildren, Tiffany Reichard (Alex), Heather Alford (Bobby); Michael Joiner (Sandi), Tonya Worley (Lee), Esther Joiner; Madyson Grem, Emilee Grem and Jarod Grem and is also blessed with 14 great-grandchildren. Hayden graduated from Plant City High School and immediately thereafter served three years in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from TECO after 36 years as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son and spending time with his family. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Brandon and sang in the choir for 28 years.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 5, 2015, at the First Baptist Church of Brandon, 216 N. Parsons Ave., Brandon, FL 33510, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
