DEAN, Harry K. Jr., 66, of Brandon, ran into the outstretched arms of Jesus on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. A native of Highland Park, Michigan, he became a born-again Christian on August 30, 1970 and attended Virginia Tech, Liberty University and was a graduate of Baptist University of America. He was an ordained minister of the gospel and spent the majority of his life in different areas of Chirstian ministries. He was a loving, adored, devoted husband, father and grandfather. Harry was an avid Virginia Tech football fan and also a WWII history buff. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Aria Serenity Dean; parents, Harry Dean Sr. and Mabel Horton Dean; nephew, John Dillard; and brother-in-law, Bob Dillard. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Maggie) Shelton Dean; sons, Jared Dean, Adam (Alicia) Dean, and Seth (Amy) Dean; daughter, Baja (Andy) Jessopp; sister, Pat Dean Dillard Guerrant; grandchildren, McKenzie Dean, Noah Dean, River Dean, Haven Dean, Elora Jessopp, and Salem Jessopp; niece, Ellen Rachel Lockhart, nephews, Robert Shelton, Aaron Shelton, and Rob Dillard; and brother-in-law, Richard (Janice) Shelton. Harry truly loved the Lord with all of his heart, mind and soul. A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.

A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. All are welcome to join the family for a Celebration of Life reception immediately following the interment, at 1602 Featherband Drive, Valrico, FL 33594.
