Hale Godwin, Jr.
Godwin, Hale Jr., a life-long resident of Tampa ended this life's journey on October 30,2011. Hale was a member of Lake Carroll Baptist Church, Past Master of Hillsborough Masonic Lodge No. 25 F.A.M., Tampa and a 50 year member of the Tampa Scottish Rite and Egypt Temple Shrine. Hale was also a longtime volunteer at the Straz Performing Arts Center and Tampa Bay and Co. He is survived by his wife, Ebba, daughters, Karen Godwin Snyder of Marietta, GA, Jan Godwin Johnson of Athens, GA; son, Loren Hale Godwin, (Deborah) of Ocoee, Fl; brother, Leslie B. Godwin; Sister, Imogene Wood, both of Tampa and 7 grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Lake Carroll Baptist Church, 12012 N. Rome Ave, Tampa FL, 33612. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Lake Carroll Baptist Church, 12012 N.
