Gregory Grambor has passed away on the 19th of June, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife Diane Grambor; son, James Grambor; daughter-in-law, Jenny Grambor; granddaughters, Alexandria Huckstep, Madison Grambor and grandson-in-law, Kyle Huckstep.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, Greg was a self made man. A very proud soldier during the Vietnam war, he was stationed in Korea, with the 38th artillery. After being honorably discharged he found the love of his life Diane, and became a successful businessman, owning an advertising agency in New York City for many years.
Upon moving to Florida in 1989, Greg started National Home Respiratory Care, The Diabetic Support Agency Inc, and Vascular PRN. All successful medical supply companies where Greg met many friends whom he has cherished. A charter fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and a Rough Rider, Greg had always valued helping others. In addition, Greg was a member of the VFW, and very importantly, an extra class Amateur Radio operator for 63 years. WB2GMK will go down in history.
Greg loved his family. “Family first”, was his motto. To say Greg was the best husband, father, and grandfather would be a huge understatement. He will be sorely missed, and it will be impossible to fill his shoes.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 27, 2024, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will follow, with military honors, at Bloomingdale Cemetery, Valrico. A reception will follow at 2:30 P.M. at Cigars International Superstore.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project.
