Obituary for Gordon Wyndall Skipper
Gordon Wyndall Skipper, 88, of Brandon, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019. A native of Cochran, GA, he had resided here since 1960 coming from Sanford, FL. He was a clerk/train dispatcher for CSX Railroad, a member of First Baptist Church of Brandon, American Train Dispatchers Association and the Morse Club. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Gail Skipper and is survived by his wife, Joyce; sons, Alan Skipper and Gary (Susan) Skipper; sister/daughter, Marcia Curl; 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; niece, Jana Kent and nephew, James Dicks and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 1, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Brandon with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Sanford, FL. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the First Baptist Church of Brandon Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
