Obituary for Gordon Everett, Jr.
Gordon “Gordy” Everett Jr, 75, of Ruskin, FL, passed away, Saturday, March 10, 2018, at his home. Gordon was born March 31, 1942 in Four Falls, New Brunswick, the 8th child to Gordon and Clara (Langley) Everett. On August 13, 2003, he married the love of his life, Jo Lou Shinn. He was employed as a city inspector, a job he truly enjoyed. He was an avid guitar player, a special talent he passed down to his sons, nephews and grandson. He is survived by his wife, Jo, of 14 years, and children, Robert Everett and wife, Mandy, Jeff Everett and wife, Candy, Gordon (Jimmy) Everett, DeAnna Everett Cooper and husband, Kevin, Ronald Everett and wife, Shane, Dawn Marie Swenson, Robin Everett Daigle and husband, Darrin, Samantha Widner and Krystan Widner. Gordon’s 22 grandchildren include, Gunnar, Cadence, Molly, Benjamin, Emma, Casey, Teddi-Marie, Cassie, Ashley, Brittany, Jackson, Thayer, Keelah, Bryan, Desiree, Taylor, Dariann, James, Joshua, Henry, Lirael, Elliana and Gabriel. His great grandchildren are Charlotte, Oliver, Grayson, Aniyah, Hayden and Sienna.
He had 18 brothers and sisters and is survived by Carl Langley, Joyce & Gary Lorenz, Phyllis Cox, Elsie Bailey, Margaret & Howard Norton, Eugene (Gene) Everett and Gerald “Rabbit” Everett. He was loved and will be missed terribly. May God hold him in his heart forever.
