Gloria Ayala Lopez, age 90, of Brandon, FL, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2023.
Gloria was born September 12, 1933, to the late Pedro Ayala and Margaret (Mirabent) Ayala, and was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack G. Lopez, Sr., who died on April 6, 2008, after 55 years of marriage, her daughter, Denise Ann Lopez and one sister, Amelia Granda.
She is survived by one son, Jack G. Lopez, Jr., two grandchildren, Jacqueline Denise Lopez and Kellye Lauren Lopez, two sisters, Lydia Miller and Sylvia George, numerous nieces and nephews, and affectionate cat, Romeo.
During her long residence in Brandon, Gloria was an active member of Son Rise Community Church, where she sang in the choir. Other hobbies included reading, sewing, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held in Riverview, Florida at Southern Funeral Care on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 3PM with family receiving friends one hour prior.
