JORDAN, Glenn E.
JORDAN, Glenn E. entered the Gates of Heaven on Thursday, November 22, 2007, a man of unique character and courage who loved his family and friends with great passion. Born in Greenville, Ohio on May 3, 1941, Glenn went on to graduate from Hagerstown High School, Hagerstown, Indiana in 1959. Shortly thereafter, he entered military service. Highly respected by his shipmates, YN1 Jordan was a Vietnam-Era Veteran who served his country in the United States Navy for 23 years on various fighting-ships and duty stations throughout the world. During the last 10 years, Glenn worked as Office Manager for Reliant Pharmacy in Clearwater, Florida. Survivors are his beloved Wife, Grace Damon Jordan; daughters, Dawn Jordan Kim Raposa; son, Captain Walter Herbert Foster IV, United States Army and his Fiance Svetlana Voytenkova; brothers, Roy and Jack Jordan; sisters, Jeannette Edwards and Louise McCormick; grandsons, Glenn and Shawn Raposa and William Charles Edward Foster. Special thanks to Fr. Vern Freeman; Nurses, Sandra, Sue and Cindy; social workers, Sharon Carmen, all of LifePath Hospice. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at the chapel at Nativity Catholic Church, 705 E. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL 33511. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Dr., Riverview. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nativity Food Pantry or to LifePath Hospice, 12973 Telecom Parkway, Suite 100, Temple Terrace, FL 33627. Rest in peace, you were loved beyond measure.
