Obituary for Glenn E. Clark
Glenn E. Clark, 85, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Friday, February 19, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Claysville, PA, Glenn lived the majority of his life in Hubbard, OH before moving to Zephyrhills, FL full time in 2015. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, George and Martha Clark, his first wife of 59 years, Evelyn Clark, daughter, Debbie Coxson (Jerry), daughter in law, Barbi Clark, and siblings, Alma Hancher, George (Nute) Clark, Jr., Wanda Boyle, Ettie Breese and Floyd Clark. Glenn will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda Clark; son, Glenn (Skip) Clark, Jr. (Carol), daughter, Patty Pitoscia (David) and son, David Clark; sisters, Alice Trefnoff, Betty Sopiak, Ruth Serra (Roberto) and Kay Clark, and brother, Fred Clark (Evelyn); stepchildren, Kathy McMorrow, Vicki Sellers (John) and Bryan McMorrow; grandchildren, Angie Yohman (Jason), Aaron Coxson (Sarah), Tina Heffernan, Jennifer Ryon, Matt Clark, Darcie Seligman (Joey), Christina Pitoscia, Jeremiah Pitoscia, Amanda Binns and Josh Dafoe; and 15 great grandchildren.
Glenn was a person of faith who lived his life serving others. He was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Glenn worked at General Motors on the assembly line and retired after 30 years of service. His hobbies included gardening, shuffleboard and assembling intricate puzzles. Glenn loved Southern Gospel music and looked forward to attending the National Quartet Convention each year. In his later years he enjoyed tending to their pets Henry and Charlotte.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 22, at 1pm with a visitation starting at 12pm at Fellowship Baptist Church, 13515 US Hwy 301 N., Thonotosassa, FL and will be available online via Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/glenn.clark.52) A graveside service will be held at a later date at Corner House Christian Church Cemetery in Hubbard, OH.
