Glenda G. Stevens
STEVENS, Glenda Gray, 67 of Brandon passed away on Saturday October 15, 2011. The daughter of Haskell Gray and Lucille Gray¸she was born in Aiken, S.C. on January 4, 1945 and was a loving daughter, wife, mother¸ and grandmother. She studied at the University of South Carolina and the University of South Florida and earned her degree in education. She worked in the Hillsborough County School system for fourteen years and loved her work as a reading specialist. She was preceded in death by her loving father Haskell Gray and is survived by her mother, Lucille Gray; her daughter, Cynthia Gries; her son, Craig Stevens; her daughter in law, Shelly Stevens; her son in law, Bob Gries, and her granddaughters Zoe Gries and Krista Stevens.
Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:30P.M. Thursday, October 20, 2011, at the First Baptist Church of Brandon, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Immediately following the service, family would like to invite guests to a "celebration of life" reception in the Boehmer Hall located at the church. Interment will be private.
