MEEKIN, Gladys Gunn, 89, of Lakeland, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014. A native of Valrico, FL, she had resided in Lakeland for 50 years and was a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Meekin; daughter, Mary Jo Kurtz; brother, Robert Gunn and sister, Marjorie Davis and is survived by her brothers, William E. Gunn, Valrico, FL, Clark H. Gunn, Homosassa, FL, Donald Gunn and Chester C. Gunn, both of Brandon, FL; sisters, Ruth Shult, Lake Placid, NY and Laura Conord, Lakeland, FL and two grandchildren, Stephanie Horvath and Rory Glass.
Funeral Information
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at New Hope Cemetery, Brandon. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 19, 2014, from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview.
