It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald "Jerry" Mussenden, who left this world peacefully on December 7, 2024, at the age of 53. Jerry was born on February 7, 1971, in Provo, Utah, to Iris and Gerald Mussenden. As the oldest of three siblings, he was a treasured brother to Gina Ellory and Ricky Mussenden. Growing up, Jerry's zest for life was evident in his many passions. He was an athlete and a theater participant throughout his school years, always bringing energy and enthusiasm to everything he did. His love for life and his exceptional talents made him a beloved figure in his community. Jerry's greatest love story began in middle school when he met Jennifer, his lifelong partner and best friend. In 1999, they were married, and together, they created a beautiful life full of love, joy, and fun memories. Jerry was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a faithful Christian man who believed in the power of kindness and love. His unwavering faith and caring spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. Jerry and Jenn had two daughters, Ana and Adriana, who were the pride of his life. His love for his daughters was immeasurable, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His legacy of love, kindness, and strength will live on through his family. In the last two years of his life, Jerry bravely battled ALS, a disease that tested his resilience and courage. Throughout his journey, he remained a beacon of hope and grace, never losing his optimism or his trust in God’s plan for his life. A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at Baylife Church on February 7, 2025, his 54th birthday! Family will have visitation at 2pm followed by a service at 3pm and refreshments after. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him, as a tribute to the absolutely incredible man he was. Jerry is survived by his wife Jenn; daughters Ana (Dalton) and Adriana; his mother Iris; his brother Ricky (Tayleen) and sister Gina (Guy); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father Gerald.
