O'LEARY, Jr., Gerald Joseph "Jerry", 63, of Valrico, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014. A native of Washington, D.C., he had resided here since 1987. A member of Nativity Catholic Church, Brandon, he was a man that loved his family. He also loved the Arts, live theater, musicals, reading, scuba diving with his family and his sports teams, Miami Heat, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Boston Red Sox. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Mary O'Leary and his brother, Timothy O'Leary. He is survived by his wife of 34 years and his friend for 40 years, Diana; 2 sons, Gerald J. O'Leary, II and John T. O'Leary; sister, Kathleen O'Leary; several cousins and had a special relationship with his granddaughter, Kathleen.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 11, 2014, at Nativity Catholic Church, 705 E. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, with the family receiving friends from 10:30 until 11:00 A.M.
