RICKS, George Arnold, 93, of Gibsonton passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2010. A native of Ashton, IL, he had resided here since 1960 coming from Missouri. He was a US Army WW II veteran, recepient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star, a member of the First Baptist Church of Gibsonton; Life Member of the American Legion, Alafia Ch., Riverview; Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of Local #25, Operating Engineers. He is survived by his wife, Arline.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 29, 2010, at the First Baptist Church of Gibsonton, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida.
