Gary Lewis Aubel, 87, of Lithia, FL, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024. A native of Lemoyne, PA, he had resided in the Tampa Bay Area for most of his life. Gary served in the Army and the National Guard and was a volunteer firefighter for Hillsborough County for eighteen years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Brandon and Campers on Mission. He also loved to go camping and hunting.
Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Aubel; son, Gary Aubel, Jr. and sister, Donna Lee Kramer.
He is survived by his son, George (Michelle) Aubel; daughters, Dorothy Taylor, Linda Mathews and Yvonne Aubel; sister, Marci Kalepger; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A service for Gary will be held at Southern Funeral Care on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 11 AM with family receiving friends one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church of Brandon.
