BETANCOURT, Franklin A., 72, of Tampa, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016. A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, he had resided here since October 2015 coming from Fort Lauderdale, FL for 10 years and was an active bowler, having bowled in numerous countries. He is survived by his wife, Julia 'Peggy' Rush; sons, Franklin and Ricardo Betancourt; daughters, Nilda and Zaury Betancourt; brother, Winston Betancourt; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 16, 2016, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services.
