SWEENEY, Jr., Francis J. 'Frank', 79, of Brandon, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016. A native of Berlin, NH, he was a life-long resident of Florida. He was a local Realtor, a US Army veteran, a member of Nativity Catholic Church and volunteered with the Food Pantry, a member of the Brandon Elks Lodge, Plant City Chamber of Commerce, Plant City Community Theater, Tampa Bay Poetry Council and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. He is survived by his wife, Angela; daughters, Vicki Gibson, Francine Marquis and Cynthia Weeks; brothers, Robert, James, Loron and Michael Sweeney; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Information
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 16, 2016, in the chapel of Nativity Catholic Church, Brandon, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will follow at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, Riverview.
