CHANDLER, Evelyn Koon, 81, of Valrico, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007. A native of Solway, TN, she had resided in Brandon since 1964. She retired from Hillsborough County Schools as an Administrative Assistant to the Supervisor of Media/Arts. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many she is survived in life by her husband, James M. "Jim" Chandler, Jr.; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Barbara Chandler, Valrico; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Michael Parker and family, St. Augustine; sisters, Mary Boehner and Elizabeth Newell; five wonderful grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Sally Koon, brother, Dub Koon and sisters, Barbara Koon and Sally Hartman. A Celebration of her life will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 24, 2007, at Holy Innocent's Episcopal Church, Valrico. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. There will be a reception following in the Parrish Social Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifePath Hospice, 12973 Telecom Parkway, Suite 100, Temple Terrace, FL 33637.

A Celebration of her life will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 24, 2007, at Holy Innocent's Episcopal Church, Valrico. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. There will be a reception following in the Parrish Social Hall.
