Obituary for Ermal Wilson Welch
Ermal Welch, of Brandon, Fl, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020. Born on July 13, 1926, in Winville, Alabama, she was the daughter of Webster Wilson and Elsie Scruggs Wilson. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Walter Lane Hicks and Harold Welch and is survived by her children with Walter Lane Hicks; son, Charles Gary Hicks, and his wife, Karen of Fairhope, Alabama and daughter, Paula Hicks Lasswell, and her husband, Andrew of Tampa, Florida; three grandchildren, Chason Nathaniel Hicks, Katherine Hicks Nicholson and Matthew Branceford Lasswell and two great-grandsons, Parker James Hicks and Nathaniel Charles Hicks. Ermal was a longtime resident of both Mobile, Alabama and Brandon, Florida. She was a businesswoman and a business owner with a career in real estate, banking and catering, all of which she loved. She had a wonderful group of friends that she loved to be with. She was very proud of her family which included 2 children, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 sister and 4 brothers and over 15 nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 P.M.
