Obituary for Emily Denise Williams (Hogan)
Williams, Emily Denise Hogan 59, passed away unexpectedly from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease on August 26, 2021, at her home in Tampa, Florida. Denise was born January 16, 1962 in Orlando, Florida. Denise is survived by Steve, her loving and doting husband of 36 years, her loving children, Patrick (34), Hogan (29), and Paige (24), her mother and father, Riley and Judy Hogan, her sister, Terri Fechtel and her husband Jay, her in-laws, James Williams and Jeanette Williams, her sister in-law, Melanie and her husband Leroy, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, innumerable close and loving friends, and her devoted dogs, Gracie and Duke. Denise was a graduate of the University of Florida, where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. Denise had a great love for all things equestrian, travel, dance, and coordinating any sort of gathering. Denise will be remembered for her sweet and kind heart, all the lives she touched with sunshine, never meeting a stranger, and her natural love and belief in the goodness of everyone she encountered. She will be missed greatly every single day. A celebration of Denise’s life will be held on Friday, September 3rd at 11 a.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church, 213 N. Knights Ave., Brandon, Florida. A reception will follow in the social hall.
