Elyane B. "Ellie" Theroux
THEROUX, Elyane "Ellie" Gagnon, 74, died peacefully in Brandon, FL on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. Ellie was born in Limestone, ME to Sylvio and Della Gagnon on August 2, 1942. She attended Limestone High School, Limestone, ME and worked at the Officers' Club at Loring Air Force Base following high school. In 1969, she married SMSGT Robert Leo Theroux, and together they raised two children. During his service to the U.S. Air Force, the family was stationed in Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, England and Florida. Ellie volunteered countless hours of her life to various organizations throughout her life. She was also proud to dedicate her time and passion to both the Boy Scout and Girl Scout organizations when her now-grown children were young. She loved country music, fresh Maine seafood, decorating for Christmas, and making crafts and hand-crafted jewelry. Ellie is preceded in death by her parents, Sylvio and Della Gagnon, and brother, Gildore Gagnon and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Joe Vaccaro, Lewisville, TX; grandchildren, Ashley Vaccaro (12) and Alex Vaccaro (8); son, Steve Theroux, Brandon, FL; brothers, Martin Gagnon, Saginaw, MI, Gaylen Gagnon, South Windsor, CT and Naldo Gagnon, Portland, ME and their families, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family of Ellie Theroux wishes to extend their sincere thanks to family and friends near and far who have both supported and encouraged her through good health and bad.
Funeral Information
In lieu of a funeral service, the family is hosting a celebration of life at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at a private home located at 2216 Glen Mist Drive, Valrico, FL. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ellie's life.
