Edward Whitfield Tweedle
TWEEDLE, Edward W. 86, known as the corn dog man of Andrews, NC, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Hawthorne Village, Brandon. He was born July 10, 1929, to Charles R. and Edna Tweedle. He was a native of Stoney Creek, Ontario, and came to Tampa in 1960. He resided in Brandon, and then moved to Andrews, NC, in 1978. He was a member of the International Independent Showmen's Association and the Great Tampa Showmen's Club of Tampa. He is survived by his daughter and son-in law, Lisa and Jimmy Evans of Brandon; granddaughter, Kayla Evans Walliser and husband, Jonathan; and nephew, Rick Tweedle.
Funeral Information
Memorial services were held Saturday, June 25, at the Faith Baptist Tabernacle, Andrews, NC.
