Obituary for Edward W. Murray
Edward W. Murray, 81, of Brandon, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020. A native of Auburn, N.Y., he had resided here since 1995 coming from San Diego, CA. He was a supervisor for a automotive parts supplier, a US Navy veteran, a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Seffner, FL, the V.F.W., American Legion and a volunteer with the Union Springs Fire Dept., Union Springs, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Caroline and two granddaughters. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; sons, Philip (Lynn), Mike (Suzanne) and Shawn (Connie); daughters, Donna (Dann) Wilson and Tabitha (Ron) Wood; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at Southern Funeral Care, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Final inurnment will be in Union Cemetery, Union Sprigs, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, for those in Florida, please make donations to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Food Pantry. Those those in New York, please make donations to the Union Springs Volunteer Fire Department.
