Edward Clay Pruett
PRUETT, Edward Clay, of Sun City Center, FL, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Born in Paris, KY on September 7, 1936, (Labor Day), to Edward Anthony Pruett and Lou Barrow Lindsay Pruett of Winchester, KY, where he grew up on a Guernsey Dairy farm. Clay and his brother, Jim, showed dairy cows at fairs and shows and to theirs and their fathers credit, won many awards. They moved to Tampa in 1956. He is survived by his wife, Donie Leighton Pruett; daughters, Susan Pruett and Karen Krueger (Brian) Larsen; granddaughters, Kyla (Elliott) Holm and Brenna (Andrew) Russell, and soon to be born is Ella Kaye Holm; niece, Lindsay Trensch and her children, Colby and Taylor Trensch, Colbys son, Rex Monson and scores of his wifes relatives who loved him.
Funeral Information
Graveside services will be held 3:30 P.M. Monday, December 11, 2017, at Seffner Cemetery, with Rev. Julian Graham, officiating.
