Edward P. Scutt
On the 31st of August 2017, in the morning hours, Edward Charles Scutt passed on to his dreamed paradise and to the loving arms of the Lord. Edward was the son of Nelson Raymond and Doris (Laird) Scutt. He was owner and operator of Ed Scutt's Trucking and Fast Eddie's Bar in NY and of Tapaliguis Bed and Breakfast in Nicaragua. Ed also served his country as an Army veteran of the Vietnam war. He loved nature and had an adventurous spirit. He enjoyed the beach, boating, volcano hiking, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and traveling. He loved life and people. He was loved by and will be missed by many. Edward was the son of Nelson Raymond and Doris (Laird) Scutt. He is survived by his loving wife Aida Guerrero Scutt, along with family members and friends in Nicaragua. A daughter Kim, of N.Y, and six siblings: Eileen (David) Spickerman of Savannah, N.Y, Albert (Kathy Parks) Scutt, Todd Scutt, Ivan Scutt, and Amy Scutt Miller, all of Florida, and Nelson Scutt Jr. of Sodus Point N.Y. along with cousins, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Nelson Scutt Sr., his step mother Janet Countryman Scutt, and by six siblings: Gary Scutt, Catherine Scutt Place, Doran Scutt, Bobby Scutt, Becky Joe and James Richard.
