Edward "Big Eddie" Lloyd, age 48, passed away on June 25, 2026, in Tampa, Florida, after a brief illness. He was born on September 23, 1977, in Covington, Kentucky.
Edward was preceded in death by his father, James Lloyd. He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory forever: his devoted wife of 26 years, Teresa; his three children, Little Eddie, Scott, and Elizabeth; his mother, Margaret Lloyd; his brother, James; and his sisters, Maggie and Marie.
Eddie was a hardworking and dedicated family man who devoted his life to caring for and supporting those he loved. He took great pride in being a husband and father and always worked hard to ensure that the people around him were happy and cared for.
He found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially spending time with his children playing games and watching memes together. Eddie also enjoyed peaceful evenings sitting out at Gandy and treasured watching Florida Gators football with his beloved wife, Teresa.
Eddie's kindness, dedication, and love for his family defined who he was. He touched the lives of many through his generosity, humor, and unwavering commitment to those he cared about most.
There are no words to fully describe how much Eddie will be missed. Though his time with us was far too short, the love, memories, and laughter he shared with his family and friends will remain in their hearts forever.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
