Obituary for Edward Alexis Soto Orozco
Edward Alexis Soto Orozco was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, on October 1, 1996, to Vilmaris Orozco and Edward Soto. Gone too soon, at only 24 years old, the family was advised of his passing on November 27, 2021.
Those who are left to cherish his memory and celebrate his impactful life are his son: Sebastian Soto; his mother and father: Vilmaris Orozco and Edward Soto; his brothers and sisters: Irmaris Soto, Jayden Vega, Natirri Soto, and Christian Soto; his grandparents: Carmen Vázquez, Anibal Soto, Irma Tirado, and Charlie Orozco, as well as other important family members: aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
We will all cherish his spirit of kindness and humility. We will remember how he put others before himself. We will hold onto the lessons he taught us, such as "money will never buy happiness, time will." We will remember his ever-present smile. We will live our lives knowing that his spirit will forever be honored in us and our remembrance.
Edward could light up a room every time he walked into one. His smile was never absent. He loved his family and showed his amazing support in many ways- from his presence to his motivational encouragement that could transform your sadness into happiness. Edward loved to spend time with his closest cousins. He was affectionate, adventurous, loving, and funny. He told some good jokes and some not so funny ones, but both would make everyone around him laugh. His personality traits included a strong charisma and deep thoughtfulness.
He was a grandson, son, father, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He left an impression on each of those who knew him, one that will remain in everyone's hearts. Yes, his spirit will forever live on through us as there is a little bit of him in each one of us whose lives he touched.
So much more could be said of this young man that we all loved to love. We wish his soul rest as we remember his time on earth. May Edward enjoy paradise while our family and his loved ones find love and comfort in each other and in our fond memories that we collectively share.
God bless our newest guardian angel, Edward Alexis Soto Orozco.
A Celebration of his Life will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Southern Funeral Care, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services.
