Edward Donald Dupree, 83, of Wimauma, FL, passed away on February 26, 2023. A native of Balm, FL, he had resided in the Tampa Bay area for his whole life. He was a member at Balm Baptist Church, Gideon's International, and Farm Bureau. He was also the first Honorary Mayor of Balm and a tropical fish farmer. He is survived by his loving wife, Claudette Dupree; son, Edward Donald Dupree II; daughters, Donna Dupree Gaffin, Claudia Lopez, and Mary Smith; brothers, Wayne Dupree and Charles Dupree; and six grandchildren, Blake Gaffin, Chase Gaffin, Justin Lopez, Angelita Lopez, Madison Smith, and Jacob Smith. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Southern Funeral Care on Monday, March 6, 2023, at 11 AM with family receiving friends one hour prior to services. An interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gideon's International.
